What's open? Who's delivering? in the Monterey Bay

We’ve been working hard to put together a list of food & drink related small businesses in Monterey County (and a few in Santa Cruz County) that are open for takeout or delivery. The list is still a work in progress, but we want to go ahead and share what we have so far. The list is going to be constantly changing and we by no means have everyone on the list. That’s where we can use your help! Leave us a comment below if you know of a business we left out and what they are offering and we will update our list as soon as possible.

Local businesses are counting on our community to make it through this difficult time. Many have already had to close their doors. Consider purchasing gift cards as well to use once they are open for full service.

Produce & Farmers Markets

Savor The Local offers three different organic produce boxes for home delivery ranging in price from $40 - $80 plus the option to add on eggs. The produce comes from either Maraquita Farm or Dirty Girl Produce. Boxes are delivered Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays to Seaside, Monterey, Carmel, Pacific Grove and Carmel Valley. Order online by 10am the day before delivery.

J & P Organics is a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) offering organic produce, eggs, honey and flowers delivered to your home once a week. Boxes range from $25-$35 (honey is an additional charge). Deliveries are Wednesday, Thursday or Friday depending on your location and they deliver from Santa Cruz to Carmel Valley. Hall’s Organic Farm will deliver to your home. $20 minimum order for free delivery. Veggies start at $2 each and strawberries at $5 a basket. Contact Stevie Hall at 831-277-5207

Marina Certified Farmers’ Market is open Sundays from 10am - 2pm and is located at 215 Reservation Road

Monterey Farmers Market at the Del Monte Shopping Center, Fridays from 9am - 2pm. (formerly at Monterey Peninsula College)

Pacific Grove Certified Farmers’ Market is open Mondays from 3pm to 7 pm at the corner of Central & Grand avenues.

Carmel Valley Farmers Market is open every Sunday from 10-2, rain or shine. Located in the Mid Valley Shopping Center.

Downtown, Westside and Live Oak Santa Cruz Certified Farmers’ Markets are open. The Downtown Market is open Wednesday from 1pm - 5pm at Cedar St & Lincoln St. the Westside Market is open Saturdays from 9am - 1pm at Mission St. Ext. and Western Dr, and the Live Oak Market is Sunday from 9am - 1pm at 15th & Eastcliff Dr.

Seafood

Looking for fresh, local fish straight from the fishermen to you? Check out Real Good Fish. They offer local pick up and now ship to California, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Idaho, and Oregon if you’d like to share some of our local catch with your friends or family. Pick up plans start at $14, visit their website for more information or to sign up.

Want to try cooking your own abalone? Monterey Abalone Company is open and offering free home delivery from Carmel to Salinas. Call them at 831-646-0350 to order online.

Delivery & Takeout

Aabha Indian Grill/Aabha Indian Cuisine takeout and delivery from 11:30am - 7:30pm. Call your preferred location to order.

Ad Astra Bread Co. is offering takeout and delivery is now available in select areas (Seaside, Monterey and Pacific Grove, and with a 24-hour notice Carmel-by-the-Sea) from Green Pedal Couriers for a $5 delivery fee. They are trying to get an order together for CSUMB campus housing, check their Instagram for more information.

Allegro Pizza in the Barnyard is offering takeout and delivery. Call 831-626-5454 to order. Family meals for 4 for $29 or order from their menu.

Cultura/Cult Taco are offering their Cultura Cares Box Program which is a weekly home delivery of an entree, first course or salad, rice & beans, salsa, guacamole and beverage pairing along with a few extra surprises. The menu will change every week, and they are asking for a 4 week commitment. Cost is $400 for two people for 4 weeks, and $75 per additional person. It includes two rolls of toilet paper and 1/2 dozen eggs so you don’t have to compete with hoarders! Also includes a one time bonus gift of a $25 Cult Taco gift card and a $25 Cultura gift card for when they reopen. They need 50 sign ups within the next 48 hours to start. Enzo Ristorante Italiano is offering takeout from noon to 7pm (and free delivery within 5 miles), 30% off food and 40% off wine. Call 831-624-6545 to order.

Epsilon Greek Restaurant is open for takeout lunch from 11am - 2pm and dinner from 4:00pm - 7:30pm. Online delivery is available through their website. Takeout call 831-655-8108.

Mezzaluna Pasteria is offering new takeout and delivery options. A daily menu along with wine pairings will be offered. Retail item pick up is offered from 12pm - 8pm daily and the full menu is available from 5pm - 8pm. View the menu online and call 831-372-5325 to order.

The Oven Pizzeria Seaside offering free local delivery to seniors 62 and older. (831) 899-1762 

Pacific Bowls & Rolls is taking a few days to clean and they will be back soon.

Revival Ice Cream is open daily from 12pm - 8:30pm for take out and they also ship nationwide. They are offering lots of fun specials - free bag of topping with half gallon of ice cream, 5 pack of gluten & dairy free pre packaged 5 cones for $7, and 1 extra reward point for those who buy 3 pints. Rosines Restaurant is open for take-out and delivery weekends from 9am - 2pm for breakfast and lunch and 4pm to 8pm for dinner. 10% off all orders and 20% off all beer and wine by the bottle. Order online or call 831-375-1400.

Argentinian chef, Diego Felix, of Colectivo Felix is preparing empanadas to be delivered to your door Fridays and Saturdays from 4pm - 6pm. Chicken, vegetarian, and vegan options are available as well as chimichurri. What’s even better you can add a bottle of Argentinian wine to your order! Delivery is free to Santa Cruz residents with a minimum order of 12 empanadas and if you are outside the Santa Cruz area email Diego to inquire about delivery fees. Place your order by 10am.

Katie’s Cold Press is offering free delivery for packages $20 and over while the Old Monterey Farmer’s Market is closed. Katie’s delicious lineup of fresh, certified organic juice is pressed-to-order and delivered to Salinas, Seaside, Marina, Monterey, Highway 68, Pacific Grove, Pebble Beach, Carmel and Carmel Valley every Monday afternoon. Pig Wizard is filling growlers and to-go bottles. They are open for sandwiches and fresh sausage to go, and will begin vacuum packaging some of their sausage for better freezer storage. Order online and pick up at the window.

Siam Thai Marina is offering take-out. 11:30AM–2:30PM and 5–8:30PM Call (831) 883-9399 to order.

The Stationaery is offering take-out & delivery. Wednesday - Sunday from 9am - 7pm they will offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their menu will offer options for family meals as well as food that travels well. Orders can be placed on their website or by calling 831-250-7183 .

The Fun Stuff

Beer

Fieldwork home delivery and curbside pickup is available everyday from 12pm-8pm. Order crowlers online. Delivery (Napa location is curbside only) is available within a 3 mile radius of your chosen taproom.

Fruition Brewing in Watsonville is delivering 32oz crowlers and bottles. Order online before 1pm for free delivery between Watsonville and Santa Cruz with a minimum order of three 32oz crowlers (DM them for larger orders as they may extend the delivery).

Other Brother Brewery is offering online ordering for pickup, delivery coming soon. 20% of all gift card sales will be added to a tip pool for their staff when they return. Crowlers and gift cards available from 1pm - 5pm. Orders placed by 4:30pm will be fulfilled the same day.

Wine

Pierce Ranch Vineyards is open for bottle sales via curbside pick-up. Call or e-mail the tasting room to place your order and arrange a pick-up time, and they’ll bring the wines out to you. (831) 372-8900

Puma Road Portola will be open every Friday - Monday from 3pm - 6pm to accommodate any carry-out wine orders. They strongly encourage calling ahead of time to expedite the check-out process; the number for the tasting room is 831.747.1911. Messaging them on Instagram or Facebook is also a welcome option.

Big Sur Salts are available through their website, the Mid-Valley Farmer's Market on Sundays, and all the stores that carry their salts that are deemed grocery stores are all open and stocked.

Captain + Stoker has closed their doors, but they are offering free shipping on all orders. Stock up on your favorite locally roasted coffee beans, available in 12oz and 5lb bags. Use code CORONOOO for free shipping.

Carmel Berry Co’s elderberry and elderflower syrups are available online with free shipping on orders of $35 or more! 5% discount for orders of 6-11 bottles, and 10% discount for orders of 12 bottles or more. Stay healthy with elderberries!

Heritage Chocolates Corralitos is delivering chocolates in the Santa Cruz area and they also ship in California. The blackberry and apricot are my favorites!

Monterey’s Tasty Olive Bar is closed, but we will continue to take orders through their website.
